We saw him tonight. He is hooked up to oxygen and an IV since he can't eat. He can go home in 3 days if all goes well. He has good color.
The baby next to him was so tiny in comparison. I didn't know how premature it was but they can save babies who are 3 month premature now. Amazing.
His big brother is only 14 months older so he will be so surprised when they bring the baby home. No way to prepare a child so young for a sibling. I am glad my DIL can stay home for 3 months for them to get use to each other.

He is coming along good and is out of NICU. He is not with his mother yet in the same room so she goes to feed him every 3 hours.
Last we heard is he gets to go home on Mon. In the meantime they will try to put them in the same room. It will be a family room so my son can be with them. He has been up there all the time anyway in the same two person room.
They have decided not to introduce big brother to him until they are home so it will be easier on big brother who is 14 months. I don't know how they will pull it off if big brother is there when they bring the baby into the same hospital room.
He will be so surprised but he might see him as another stuffed toy and love on him like he does his toys. He may not like the crying though. He may not want him to come home with them. LOL
