I finally got what I was asking for
I finally got Rosie in with a Allergy and Asthma Dr. She will be seeing him on June 4th. I've been asking for almost 2 years and the other Dr wouldnt listen. We had an appt set up with a new Dr for this thursday but she is sick yet again. So we got to see them sooner. The Dr that she saw automatically said she needs a specialist. I cried when she said it.
Part of me cant wait but then part of me is scared. Hubby's neice had to be tested and they stuck her 24 times with different things to find out what she was allergic to. I'll be glad to finally know exactly what it is and we can get some preventive measures to take.
She is pitiful today. We have just sat on the couch together most of the day today.

GOOD FOR YOU! I know the testing is a booger, but the shots have made a WORLD of difference in Sophie's life.

That's good that something is finally being done. I hope they find the allergen.
DS has had allergies and asthma since he was a baby and has has numerous allergy tests and they don't hurt. What's bothersome is the raised, itchy spots from an area that shows to be positive to an allergen. It's more like a little scratch then a needle stick. Good luck and it's good news that this doc is proactive!

Allergy testing isn't really all that bad. I know it sounds awful, getting stuck with all those needles, but you hardly feel it. Plus it will be so helpful in her treatment. Best of luck!

I'm glad she is going to get what she needs and hope they figure it out. It's horrible for us moms when our little ones are sick or hurting.
