Need Wedding Cake Topper HELP! - Big Big Forums

My brother and his girlfriend are getting married on May 16.(yes, next month) They wanted a cake topper with a touch of personalization. He plays the banjo and she knits. They were in contact with someone who could, apparently, put on together, but now their calls are not being returned and the emails are bouncing. Needless to say, they are freaking.

Here is where I need help:

I need to find a place where you can order a cake topper with a dark haired, caucasion female knitting(or something) and a dark haired caucasion male with a banjo. They do NOT have to resemble the couple, just the criteria I had laid out. Everywhere I have looked(Googled) wants huge sums and wants to sculpt a topper from photographs. They arent THAT picky at all.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

What if you just got figurines? They might not be dressed for a wedding, but you could find some that fit those descriptions.

Get a topper that meets your needs then go to a store that sells doll house furniture etc....you should be able to find banjo and a basket full of yarn with knitting needles. If that doesn't help you can always print out pictures from puter and glue to hard plastic or cardboard and then glue to respective person. Just some ideas hope they help!

I suggest you search the web for banjo figurines, or knitting figurines. Also, if there is some kind of items they collect like teddy bears, cats, whatever, you can look up that kind of stuff to see if there are any banjo players or knitting figures. I looked on ebay and found these:

You just need to search for something other than cake toppers that would work as a cake topper. Also, if you find something you like that does not have the appropriate hair color, just paint the hair the proper color.
