Im in, except im not waiting until tax day, as soon as my 4 packs are gone im switching to the patch. All ready have it, stopped at walgreens the other day & brought them while they were still on sale $39.99 plus i had a $7 off coupon. I only smoked while sitting at the pc, so that is going to be hard part for me.

Ok little sister i am with you we will do this once and for all!! Sure am glad there are others in this with us. Its hard i have quit for a week and right back at it, i guess i get bored easy!! April 15th is the day!!!

Whoo Hooo we have a few of us so far. It's a date everyone.
I know what you mean loveswolfs. My cup of coffee in the morning and my computer is going to be hard. I think I will get me some fruit or nuts to eat on while sitting here. Gonna have to go Shopping!

I dont smoke in the house so thats not the problem my issue is going to be with not going out an sitting on my porch with a cig, thats mommys little 5 min break from kids!

I'm in too.I enjoy smoking and don't want to quit,but It is time.
Thank you for posting this,maybe having a few of us go through it together will be the kick in the a$s I need.Thanks to all the former smokers for speaking out too.I almost feel like I "can't"quit,if you guys did it then maybe I can too.

It's about 18 years or so (can't quite remember) for me...cold turkey. If I can do it....you can....

YAY to everyone that is going to quit, you can all do it. I tell it really is just a mind over matter type thing, if you keep yourselves busy and find something to do with your hands it will be easy.

I quit smoking in February... and started back up in the middle of March.
Now, I won't attempt to "cold turkey" stop until nicer weather rolls around ---- for some strange reason, I find that the more time I spend outside in nice weather, the less I want to smoke...
so... that's my "plan"
