Are there any places on line where you can go that gives you some ideas on how to decorate a house?

We are getting ready to buy a new house and I need some ideas, color schemes, layouts, etc.

I wish I had the money to hire someone to just come in and do it...LOL

Yes, there are. You can look in your local phonebook for design centers. If that doesn't work....if your house is being built ask a contractor, builder. They usually will know the best places to go. I did that when our house was built in 2002. They have rooms all set up for you. They have thousands of colors schemes possible.

There's always someone there to help.

If you can't find what you're looking for ask your realtor. I'm sure they can direct you in the right place. They deal with this stuff everyday.

Ethan Allen has 'designers' on staff....they do not charge for their 'designs' but they do expect (not required) that you will make a purchase from them. Their furniture is well made, but you will pay accordingly for it.
