mouthwash preference?
I have to use mouthwash before I brush. I hate the sweet tasting kind. But I saw recently that the alcohal content in the others is so high, it damages gums etc with time. I just got Crest total care. But it is sweet. What kind of mouthwash do you like?

Act Restoring - it restores minerals to the soft spots in your teeth. You're supposed to use it twice a day after you brush. Why are you using a mouthwash before brushing?

Crest Pro Health Rinse is not sweet and does not contain alcohol but it cleans like it does, just doesnt leave that burn like the ones that do contain it.......I like the green one.

if you drink and or smoke you are not supposed to use the ones with alchohol, at least that is what my dentist told me anyway

I love the Listerine green one. I like the ones that set your mouth on fire. Makes it seem like it works.LOL I use the small green flosser thingys, and like to floss with a little of this in my mouth. A bit messy, but I like the feeling when I am done. Sometimes I will brush with it.

the crest pro rinse toothpaste is really good too, use the rinse and the toothpaste together for a really great clean
I think they say not to use the ones with alcohol in it because it would REALLY dry out your mouth...never heard that but makes sense if you think about the drying factor of it.

I use Act before I brush and then Crest restoring after. I'm kind of a tooth fanatic. I use two different toothpastes also. Colgate complete and then pearl drops (which is super friggan hard to find!).

I can't use anything but Listerine the blue one. We've tried other stuff, but my teeth just don't feel as clean compared to the Listerine.
