We have lucked out and dodged the last 3 snow storms in our state. Somebody threw up an umbrella over us.
Is it me or does it seem like every year we get alot more windier days?

It looks like we got about 8" of snow on the ground. Not too bad I guess...LOL. its just lightly flurrying right now. I made my DD get up this morning to make sure school was called off...hahahaha..she knew it would be so she wasn't too thrilled I made her get up anyways. Glad you got a day off from work..gotta love that!! I am just waiting for the plow truck to get here so I can move my car. At least it's light snow, I thought it was suppose to be heavy but it's not.

Hey elle let's see those plow truck pics..LMAO

So far we have over a foot and it's still coming down. It's falling a lotlighter then earlier. Work was closed today so the storm has it's benefits.

I thought we were going to get hit a lot harder than we did. It was also a lot lighter and fluffier, which was really nice. No work is cool....LOL. I Hope it stops snowing there soon..sounds like it is winding down.

We got what we expected. I kept seing this little dark area of heavy snowfall on the weather map and we were right in the middle of it all. At least snow storms this time of the year melt off fast.

Had 5" to 8" of snow around here in the Wallburg/Winston Salem area. Our deck looked more like about 4". The city closed down like they always do for measureable snow. Even radtiation was canceled Mon. and this mornings appt. has been changed to 2:15 PM because they are so backed up. I saw lots of snowmen in yards this morning on our cruise, small ones and over 6 ft. ones. Everyone had a blast throwing snowballs from the forts they built (8 to 12 year olds).

Last night went down to 13 and in a couple of days it will be 70+ degrees.
