Okay...so who wears Spanx

We just had this entire discussion with my friends on FB. I'm an ol' granny and my daughter's friends were commenting about how they loved their Spanx. I didn't even know what they were. (They are 'shapewear' which supposedly helps to eliminate all the ridges, pantyline, etc.)

Well...I ordered a couple online. They are definitely pricey. They cost more than my shoes...and I hope I like them.

Anyone else love their Spanx!

I don't wear them, I received some once and gave them to a member on here, but people really seem to love them, even people on talk shows lol I can't remember who but someone came out in their spanx to show how much better they looked.

I like mine ok but I fot a new one..dang whats it called again..hmmm...looks more like a tank top but you pull it on from the legs and I like it more.

Okay it is a Kimora body shaper..I love it

hate em! I guess I've got to much to squish in, cuz it ends up all being pushed up and exaggerates the muffin top. I then got the one that goes up to under the bra and it just rolls down in the back and even though I can't see it, I know it can't be pretty back there.

Also, she makes a less pricey brand called Assets (ha!) at Target...about 1/2 the price as Spanx, but I think they have less "holding power". btw...I hate the Assets too........ I just let it all hang out instead. Lifes too short to be uncomfortable IMO.

I don't wear them because I don't need them but have heard they work but you can't breathe either. Now if they gace me boobs I might consider wearing one but then Victoria's Secret does have Hello Bombshell bras which do work...expensive but work.

Kathy Lee talks about hers all the time, on the TODAY Show...

I think the trick to them is getting the correct size... I have the total body ones from your boobs to ankles..the mid thigh ones..Nude & Black.. I will admit they can be warm down here..but clothes look so much better with them...Vanity is b*tch...
