Nanajoanie's back part time
1st of all I want to thank everyone for the beautiful and sometimes funny cards and prayers. Each meant so much to me and helped me heal. Thank you again for your generous thoughtfulness.
I feel like I've been to hell and back!! My pelvic is finally starting to bother me less. The P.T.'s finally released me from therapy a couple of weeks ago. Been shopping most mornings and then rest or collapse the rest of the day. The P.T.'s were the pits, hurt more than the broken pelvic area at times, pure torture when they started me on 'pilates'.
Most of that is behind me now. I can do my own laundry, cook my own food, take Bridget on cruises around the circle, visit with neighbors, walk with no walker or cane for short distances. When I shop I still use the electric race cart.
It's good to be back even though not daily for awhile. It'll take me awhile to 'get in the groove' but I'm trying as hard as I can.
