Help! My husband and I are
getting in an argument about cats. What was the author that had the cats that had the additional paws... Please help, fast!

Are you talking about Hemmingway? His cats had extra digits on their paws & their descendents are still on his property in FL.

Yep .. that is him. You can tour the Hemingway House in Key West and they have Hemingway cats still on the island, many living on the grounds.

My favorite cat author is Lilian Jackson Brauhn, The Cat Who series. I had a siamese and she was SUPER intelligent, could open cabinets, pick up objects, etc. I had to put her to sleep at 15 from bad health. I miss her every day. I love the Lillian Jackson Braun books, too. KoKo seems to have super intelligence, and he has extra whiskers. His person, Qwill, thinks the extra whiskers are what makes KoKo so smart. Originally Posted by iluvmybaby

I use to have a "Hemmingway" cat - there is actually a real name for them but I can't ever remember what it was.
