Gobble Gobble Just Around the Corner!

Wow time really goes by fast! Thanksgiving is here!! Who is going to cook a turkey this year? If you do you should check out this recipe www.safeway.com/thanksgiving its the 2 hour turkey recipe. What do you think about that..being done with the main dish in 2 hours?

If I can find a 10 pound turkey I will be cooking my bird in my rotisserie oven. I ended up with 3 free turkeys this year but they are all too big for the oven so I may have to go out & buy one. I did donate 2 of the birds & kept one for later use.

    Thanks for that link!

throw it on the grill if you have one(in the roasting pan), cooks in the same amount of time as in the oven

I can't believe it's already Thanksgiving...next up, Christmas. I have a 23 lb turkey that I get to cook. I'm not sure if we're going to cook it the normal way or if I'll furnace blast it.

My b-day is on Thanksgiving this year! We go to the in-laws first and then head to my parents. So I probably won't have the cooking duty for many years yet. I still help at both places though!

I wondered if anyone had tried the 2 hour way, I picked up a recipe from them w/ it in there... don't know if we'll do that or not. Of course we have to get our turkey before we can really worry about that I cannot wait though I love food!
