It's been one week....
since I had my last cigarette. Officially it was 8:30 this a.m. cause I always would call my BFF after getting my cup of coffee, then I would go outside and we would smoke and talk on the phone. I was sick all week so didn't go out to smoke, was better yesterday, but just decided I was going to try to stick with not smoking, it was hard this a.m. cause I wanted one with my coffee....and I didn't even call my friend til later cause I knew it would be harder listening to her smoke on the other end. I know all the nicotine is gone from my body, but just the trigger times for me are going to be hard to deal with! I'm keeping my fingers crossed I can stick with it.....and maybe work on hubby to quit too....

Good for you!! Perhaps this will give me the incentive to try again. I've quit several times, once for over 2 years but I picked up the habit again. It's very hard to quit.

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I had quit in July of 2002 and then after a stressful move I started again in August of 2006, smoked until February of 2007 then quit again until March of this year. I really need to stay quit because my kids are on me about smoking all the time!

Try to hang in there! Just being able to breathe without hearing myself is enough to make me glad I quit! It used to be awful trying to go to sleep at night.
