Congtaulations to you! Anytime you are tempted just think how much better you smell and how much easier it will be to go places without worrying about a cigarette break.

That's great! I hope you can do it too. I last smoked 30 days ago.

They claim it takes 27 days to break a habit. The desire is still there a little bit but the need is gone for me.

best decision you can make. eventually you are going to notice a whole new world. one where you have energy, can run more, smell better and having whiter brighter teeth. keep it up it will pay off.

Mom... I smoked my last cigarette at about 1 this morning (which I didn't enjoy at all... I haven't really enjoyed a smoke in a while which is why I decided to not buy anymore). I've done ok today but I know from trying to quit in the past that the 3rd day is the hardest. I bought myself a big bag of blow pops and I make sure and keep them close.

I am praying for us both that we can make it stick this time. My husband pissed me off last night and told me not to spend too much time in the grocery store cause he just knew I was gonna be begging for cigs before the night was over... I told him thanks for his confidence and from now on to keep his big stinkin negative comments quiet. So far he has complied!

    Anyways... here's to us!

You guys can do it! I smoked since I was 14 and quit 3 years ago. If you have to, use the gum for about a week or two and it will help you get through the worse cravings. Just stick with it and remember that every day you don't smoke, the easier it will be and the better you will feel. I know it doesn't feel like it now but you will. Good luck!
