I use an epilator, it hurts the first time the most, and then less and less as time goes by. I use mine on a daily basis because hair grows back at different rates, so some might grow back daily where as some might take a week or a month.
The epilator jerks the hair out by the root, it basically is tweezing, after a period of time some of the hair will not grow back, like tweezing or waxing does over a period of time.
I have read that one can use the stuff you get to numb your gums during a toothache or when babies are teething to numb the area you are using the epilator on, but I do not know how safe this is.
Also there is a cream you can get a dr to write you a prescription for called Vanquish I think that is supposed to slow or stop the hair after you use it a while.
Ignorance is bliss but the question is can we afford it?
