Thread: Major projects this week?

This week I started setting up our home office in the room that was occupied by my sister.. We moved all of her stuff into the basement this weekend b/c she is taking FOREVER to get her stuff..

So far I got my dresser with my fabric in the closet.. got a book case up against the wall. Need to start putting books in it later. I need to get material to make curtains.. Move all my sewing stuff out of the sunroom and up there..

And I guess the room is staying bright pink for the time being b/c I want to paint it dark red but we have other stuff to do first..

This weekend w need to order 3 wireless cards to get the interweb upstairs and give the kids their internet back


And yet I sit on my a$$ for the past hour taking a veeeery long break

yes... my whole house needs cleaned before the pre-school teacher comes for home visit..lol. Been slacking this week. Clothes are piled WAY up.

We are getting ready for a huge paver patio project in the backyard next week. Permits, equipment, supplies etc etc. Trying to schedule it all and have it all come together when we need it. Plus I am trying to clean out the garage and basement in preparation for a Labor Day party. I have old computer equipment that needs to go to a recycling place and garage sale stuff to tag and get to a friends house for a garage sale. I have been running around like crazy so far this week....and I just realized its only TUESDAY! LOL

we have a guy coming on Thurs. to power wash the outside of the house, have a few more crochet projects I'm working on..

I've been going through all the kids' clothes, weeding out the things that no longer fit or are stained or torn. So far we've gone through about 1/3 of their stuff and I've got 2 of those big Ziploc XXL bags crammed full...some of the stuff still has tags on it lol, we're so bad. we are almost finished with the addition to our house that has taken over 2 freaking years.......we had no idea what we were doing......we have to get the flooring down in the hallway and dining room then the only thing left is the bathroom

If it counts I just did my housework and am trying to make it thru my two weekends of 3rd shift which is killer on my body because of the lack of sleep and the being up all night and very little sleep during the day an not being able to take the meds for the fibro kills my body. I then had my 2 days off cleaned around the house some rested some and took my DD to some appt and am getting her ready to go back to school in a couple weeks.

We have a major list of things to do this week since moving into our new home:

Install new doorbell
Install carbon monixide detector
Put up curtain rods in living room
Shorten and iron curtains for living room
Paint
Install towel racks and toilet paper holder in bathroom

And probably a bunch of other things I can't think of right now.
