How embarrasing- toilet paper recommendations please

Either I am an idiot and keep buying the same lousy brands over and over or the all TP manufacturers are making a much lousier product now a days. I never recall having these problems in the past. I know one TP manufacturer recently apologized in a tv ad for his product leaving "lint", and said try us again. So I have. I still get lint with one, the other shreds. this last time I bought Charmin double roll extra strong. well it isn't that strong, it is not very absorbant, and it is very thick so there is much less on the double roll then I used to get on a single roll.. I am so tired of spending my money on these big packages to save a little money and then having to live with the inferior product for weeks. which ones are you all using these days? Every store seems to have unique varieties - I wish there were not so many to choose from because I have a hard time remembering which ones I have tried. Is this just me? Maybe I should not be such a bargain hunter - LOL

We shop at walmart and we buy Angel Soft. To me its the best product for the money. I dont like spending a crap-load (no punn intended) on TP. Its hold up just fine for us.
