Thread: I found Stickley Bros. furniture at the secondhand store!

Yes, I did it again! I have a gem of a secondhand store close by; those that know me might remember some of my finds. I'm not an antique dealer or anything, I sell a little bit on ebay and have a yard sale once or twice a year. But I sure get lucky sometimes.
So last week, I walk into my fave shop and here is this gorgeous oak mission style furniture - a club chair with leather cushions, matching ottoman and coffee table, all spindle style, leather is forest green, and close to perfect condition. There was this lady that buys stuff there, owns an antique store, nice lady, she was practically sitting on this Stickley chair. I walked in, saw it across the room and went over and took off the 44.95 price tag and said, 'Oh, how nice, this would look lovely in my office'. At that time, on first sight, I did not know it was Stickley, I thought it was probably a copy, but wonderful anyway. I turned the ottoman over and saw that metal Stickley tag and burned emblem and quickly made arrangements to borrow a truck and treat all the store workers to Pepsis, Monsters and tacos.
It's truly gorgeous furniture, it's not antique Stickley, it's dated 1994. I have the Mission Oak spindle Morris club chair with original forest green cushions, the matching ottoman with green top, and the matching spindle coffee table. They are all in fantastic condition.
I have not had any luck pricing them, I looked on eBay and it's all older pieces. I found a place called strictlyfurniture that makes copies of them, my pieces would run about $6,000 to buy copies from them.
I'm in a bit of a spot right now and need to sell to keep a roof over Dots and my head. I know that you all can tell me how much I should sell this most incredible furniture for. I was already offered 3,000 by the antiques dealer lady that was almost sitting on it. She came back and hunted me down, she was so mad at herself for not seeing it. Said she could not sleep all night cuz she was so busy kicking herself. I felt kinda bad, she's very nice. We're all just trying to make a living right?
Anywho, off track. What I really want to know is the value of these pieces. Can anyone clue me in?
