Thread: When is school out in your neck of the woods?

Wow! I can't believe some of your kids get out in May. It's June 11th and 13th for my girls. And they have to start school towards the end of August. So much for 3 months of summer break like I used to get as a kid.

may 20 is last day of school but I have to work half days the 21 and 22 then we are off till august Yea!!

Yikes... this is coming so fast. Kids last day is June 5th or 6th. I was really trying not to think about this, since this mean I will have to find someone or something for the kids to do while I am at work....

The school district I work for (I'm a "lunch lady") is out May 22, but my dd has to go until May 29. My ds is a senior and his last day is May 13, graduates on May 17.

June 13th here.

We start school the end of August.

June 4th here...was last of May but have to make up some days

We get out May 23 but will start back at the beginning of Aug.

May 30th or something like that.

My granddaughter gets out May 30 and starts back Aug 8th. That is only 2 months. They get a lot of days during the year though. And we didn't use snow days this year so instead everytime there was a tornado warning they let the kids out early. The weather men criticise the principals who let the kids out when there is a tornado watch out.
