No I'm not hiding him in the basement. LOL He posted a thread a couple of nights ago. He was sick for most of April. Up until Tuesday he had been out of work sick since April 7th. He had an endoscopy and they found a small ulcer on his espophagus which they said was caused from acid so now he has to take Prilosec everyday. I will let him know you were asking about him. He might even be on later after work. Thanks for asking about him.

My hubby has ulcers in his stomach caused by bacteria. They are awful for him when they flare up. Before we found out what was wrong with him, he scared us with all the symptoms. Take care of them and be careful what you eat.
Wash your hands and say your prayers
Because germs and Jesus are everywhere!

My mother had a stomach ulcer for years. When she moved to Florida and started seeing a new doctor he told her that she shouldn't have had to suffer for so long with it. He gave her some antibiotics and it cleared it up. She hasn't had any problems with it since. When I was little she always had a bottle of Maalox in the refrigerator.

I have acid reflux too. I was taking Prilosec like Kevin but now that I'm pregnant they switched me over to Zantac instead. I'm sorry about your dad.
