the winds have pretty much died down now. It was weird, one moment it was whipping everything all over the place and then nothing. It's picked up a little but nothing like before. I kind of was getting a little scared.. wondered if this was the calm before the storm

You must have gotten our wind. I think a lot of our weather travels onto NV. We had it very windy throughout the night. I guess we're due for another rainstorm... hasn't started here yet though.
