my 14 year old daughter
she has her first boyfriend - lol -
he asked her "out" the other night when they were IM'ing each other - she has known him for 2 years - they are in the same grade and she has liked him for about 5 months now - so its now "official" - they are "goind steady" - lol -
and she went to his soccer game last night and when she got home she said they "held hands" walking to the game together -
now the funny part - - - - - - -
his father is my gynecologist - hehe - Kristina (my dd) says to me "Mom - when you meet Mark (the bf) - pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't say anything to him about his father being your doctor...."
cuz I am the type that will embarrass her - but I promised not to say anything...

I get a kick out of my grandgirl that just turned 15 last week. Seems she has a different boyfriend about every month. But when she was in elementary and the first time I heard her say they were going "steady" I asked her what she meant. Seems they waved at the lockers or on the playground. Then in middle school they talked to each other or sat together in the lunchroom. Now she actually dates and kisses. I saw her kissing with a neighbor boy last year and it filled me with terror. Didn't realize she was so grown up. Won't be long and she'll go away to college. Goodness didn't mean to write a book.

lol...this reminds me of the time I got a new gyn....the whole time I kept thinking...god he looks sooo familiar....well turns out he was in my graduating class, and whats even worse, I had a huge crush on him in hs! Needless to say, I did not go back LOL
