Awwwww, how cool! Everyone told us it wouldn't work cause he was so far from me (him-Mississippi me-Michigan). However, eight years later here we are happy as could be. I seriously knew the minute he said "Welcome to the room Crystal" in that southern accent that I was in love. We were in a chat called MPlayer, not around anymore but it was one of the first voice chats.
Take life with a grain of salt...and a shot of TEQUILA!!

I have thought and thought about this and i can't say we really have a song. DH doesn't listen much to music and i do. The song that reminds me most of him is You're so vain....cause one day right after we married i walked by the bathroom door and it was slightly open and he was in there telling himself how good looking he was.....lol....he is good looking but really....anyway i've been teasing him about it ever since. I suppose it's a good thing he has a good sense of humor to put up with that(me)....lol
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves for they shall never cease to be amused.

Our wedding song stll applies.....What a wonderful world...
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world.
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you.
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world.
This feels like it is and will be us........The Way....
They made up their minds
And they started packing
They left before the sun came up that day
An exit to eternal summer slacking
But where were they going
Without ever knowing the way?
They drank up the wine
And they got to talking
They now had more important things to say
And when the car broke down
They started walking
Where were they going without ever knowing the way?
Anyone could see
The road that they walk on is paved in gold
And it's always summer, they'll never get cold
They'll never get hungry
They'll never get old and gray
You can see their shadows
Wandering off somewhere
They won't make it home
But they really don't care
They wanted the highway
They're happy there today , today
The children woke up
And they couldn't find 'em*hehe I love that line! *
They Left before the sun came up that day
They just drove off
And left it all behind 'em
But where were they going without ever knowing the way?
Hey where did we go,
Days when the rains came
Down in the hollow,
Playin' a new game,
Laughing and a running hey, hey
Skipping and a jumping
In the misty morning fog with
Our hearts a thumpin' and you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.
Whatever happened
To Tuesday and so slow
Going down the old mine
With a transistor radio
Standing in the sunlight laughing,
Hiding behind a rainbow's wall,
Slipping and sliding
All along the water fall, with you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.
Do you remember when we used to sing,
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da
So hard to find my way,
Now that I'm all on my own.
I saw you just the other day,
My how you have grown,
Cast my memory back there, Lord
Sometime I'm overcome thinking 'bout
Making love in the green grass
Behind the stadium with you
My brown eyed girl
You my brown eyed girl
Do you remember when we used to sing
Sha la la la la la la la la la la te da.Mrs Pepperpot is a lady who always copes with the tricky situations that she finds herself in....

Well I met my bf of almost a year and a half ago as a blind date I guess you could say. It was an instant connection for both of us so Savage Gardens song would apply but so does You Had Me From Hello by Kenny Chesney but really our song is You Are The Love Of My Life by Sammy Kershaw. Whenever hes over here and I play that song he sings it to me and cries every time. We met at a point when we both really needed each other and we plan on getting married this spring if everything goes right

Some days, I feel like our song is:
Deana Carter - Did I Shave My Legs For This?
Flowers and wine is what I thought I would find
When I came home from working tonight
Well now here I stand, over this frying pan
And you want a cold one again
I bought these new heels, did my nails
Had my hair done just right
I thought this new dress was a sure bet
For romance tonight
Well it's perfectly clear, between the TV and beer
I won't get so much as a kiss
As I head for the door I turn around to be sure
Did I shave my legs for this?
Now when we first met you promised you'd get
A house on a hill with a pool
Well this trailer stays wet and were swimmin' in debt
And you want me to go back to school
I bought these new heels, did my nails
Had my hair done just right
I thought this new dress was a sure bet
For romance tonight
Well it's perfectly clear, between the TV and beer
I won't get so much as a kiss
As I head for the door I turn around to be sure
Did I shave my legs for this?
Darlin did I shave my legs for this?
But most days our song is:
Shania Twain "The Woman In Me (Needs The Man In You)"
I'm not always strong
And sometimes I'm even wrong
But I win when I choose
And I can't stand to lose
But I can't always be
The rock that you see
When the nights get too long
And I just can't go on
The woman in me
Needs you to be
The man in my arms
To hold tenderly
Cause I'm a woman in love
And it's you I run to
Yeah the woman in me
Needs the man in you
When the world wants too much
And it feels cold and out of touch
It's a beautiful place
When you kiss my face
The woman in me
Needs you to be
The man in my arms
To hold tenderly
Cause I'm a woman in love
And it's you I run to
Yeah the woman in me
Needs the man in you
Yeah the woman in me
Needs the man in you
I need you baby
Yeah yeah Oh baby...

My song to him is Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol
We'll do it all
Everything
On our own
We don't need
Anything
Or anyone
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world
I don't quite know
How to say, how I feel
Those three words
'l say too much
But not enough
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden
That's bursting into life
Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads
I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden
That's bursting into life
All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes
They're all I can see
I don't know where
Confused about how is well
Just know that these things will never
Change for us at all
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world
I am also a BIG Leela James fan and this song also reminds me of him because he came into my life and I knew INSTANTLY that a change was gonna come for me!
I was born by the river
In a little tent
and gorgeous like the river
I've been running, ever since
It's been a long
a long time coming
but I, I know a change gonna come
Owh yes it will
It's been to hard living,
But I am afraid to die
cause I don't know what's up there
beyond the sky
It's been a long
a long time coming
but I, I know a change gonna come
Owh yes it will
There's been times that I thought
I wouldn't last for long
But somehow
I think I'm able to carry on
It's been a long
a long time coming
but I know, I know a change is gonna come
Owh yes it will
And then I go to my mother
I said mother could you help me please?
She said : I'd like to, I really would,
but I'm just not able
Then I looked around
and I was right back down,
down on my knees
There's been times that I thought
I wouldn't last for long
But somehow
I think I'm able to carry on
It's been a long
a long time coming
but I know a change gonna come
Owh yes it willLive the life you love~~love the life you live
