I hate it too, some change is good, total takeover of OUR board is not

I like it .. so far .. lol.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them. Distance and time may separate us but friendship and memories won't.

If I may, so that it helps the admin of both sites,
What do you want back? What made BBS special that you feel is missing? What would make you happy in terms of the partnership?

What made me happy is when there wasn't a partnership. I don't like ads (at least those within posts definitely). I don't like the server being down for long periods of time. Now that doesn't seem to be a problem anymore, but why couldn't our boards have been left as they were??? If we are only merging one forum from each site, I don't see why everything had to be rearranged.

I think some of those things will be better. Judy has become quite an ace at keeping downtime to a minimum after some of those issues at mwt. So I think that downtime shouldn't be an issue now.
Ads, it sounds like Judy improved that ads and that will be a good thing. I know that in the past Judy has listened to complaints about ads so she keeps good ads which bring in what they need to and provide the users with things they may actually use.
I didn't see the older layout of BBS so I really can't comment on that but that may be something that can be dealt with. We really did merge only two forums. That is simple to address and if a compromise can be reached on the layout what you all want maybe the partnership will bring everyone with something added to their internet time

Well for me personally, the merging of the two forums is not relevant. She rearranged and renamed other BBS forums that had nothing to do with the ones merged with MWT. Also, one board was closed completely that I know was used.

Here's one thing that I suggested to Judy for you all.
Bring back the vent/whine forum to stand alone.
Bring back the religious forum for the deals/freebies/non-debate discussions.
If you want to debate religious issues you can make the jump to mwt for debate issues and keep the rest of it here.
The reason I suggested this was two-fold: 1) that way you all can have back what you are missing and 2) the boards can each excel at what they are good at. You are a deal/freebie type board and we are a debate board. If we can make the jump for those things we need from each other the rest can be kept where it was.
