SPAM HASHBROWN BAKE
Yield: 8 Servings
1.00 pk Frozen hashbrown potatoes,
-thawed slightly (32 oz)
0.50 c Butter or margarine, melted
1.00 t Salt
1.00 t Pepper
0.50 t Garlic powder
2.00 c Shredded Cheddar cheese
1.00 cn SPAM Luncheon Meat, cubed
-(12 oz)
1.00 cn Cream of chicken soup
-(10 3/4 oz)
1.50 c Sour cream
0.50 c Milk
0.50 c Chopped onion
0.25 c CHI-CHI's Diced Green
-Chilies, drained
2.00 c Crushed potato chips
Heat oven to 350'F. In large bowl, combine potatoes, melted butter,
salt, pepper, and garlic powder. In another bowl, combine cheese,
SPAM, soup, sour cream, milk, onion, and green chilies. Add SPAM
mixture to potato mixture; mix well. Pour into 2-quart baking dish.
Sprinkle with potato chips. Bake 45-60 minutes or until thoroughly
heated.

SAVORY SPAM CRESCENTS
Serving Size : 16 Preparation Time :0:00
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

10 sl Bacon, cut in small pieces
1/4 c Finely chopped onion
1 cn SPAM Luncheon Meat, cubed
- 12 oz
1 Egg, beaten
3 tb Grated Parmesan cheese
2 tb Chopped fresh parsley
2 tb Dijon-style mustard
1/8 t Pepper
2 pk Refrigerated crescent roll
-dough (8 oz)
Heat oven to 375'F. In skillet, cook bacon and onion until bacon is
crisp; drain. Stir in remaining ingredients except crescent roll
dough. Separate each package of crescent dough into 8 triangles.
Spread top half of each triangle with SPAM mixture; roll up. Place on
baking sheets. Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

You mustn't forget Rack of Spam

1 can Spam
Peanut butter
1 can Pineapple chunks
Maraschino cherries
Butterfly the loaf of Spam by slicing it into thin sections without cutting all the way through. Bend open the Spam slices and stick pieces of pineapple in between them. For garnish, top with some peanut butter and a few Maraschino cherries. Place in the microwave for about 4 minutes

SPAM SHAKE
1 cn Of Spam
1 ea Tin of Anchovies
2 ea 12oz cans of beer
4 oz Tomato juice
1 ts Dijon mustard
½ c Chopped up parsley
¼ c Chopped scallions
x Dash of Tabasco
x Salt (if you'd need it)
x Pepper to taste
Put it in blender and blend until smooth. Serve chilled with Celery stick.
Spam jello
1 lg Box lemon or lime Jello
1 lg Can Spam
1 md Onion, chopped
½ c Boiling water
½ c Ice cold water
½ c Mayonnaise
½ c Sour cream
½ Bell pepper, chopped
4 Hard boiled eggs, chopped
¼ c Relish (pickle, corn, etc.)
2 Stalks celery, finely chopped
2 dr Tabasco
Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add cold water, mayonnaise and sour cream to Jello. Chop Spam; add to Jello with remaining ingredients. Chill until firm. Makes 6 to 8 servings. This recipe is excellent on a hot day.

Spam is what most of the locals here in Hawaii eat. That and white rice. It's amazing what they can do with spam. I don't eat it, never even tried it.

When I was younger we used to go camping on the weekends during the summer and my mother always cooked Spam in the mornings. She would slice it and fry it up and then we would put a little mustard on it. It wasn't that bad but it was a bit salty.
