Thread: Just wanted you guys to see what some of us went through

I don't know where to put this, but wanted to show you some of the devastation that we went through with the hurricanes.

Thank you! We did not have as much damage as New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, we just had a lot of wind damage. We could have had it worse.

What a devastation! I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to not only lose my home but also my whole town! Looking at those pictures is so had. I don't know how that person with the sign (house for sale: some assembly required) found his sense of humor!

WOW!!! My whole family was down in Orange Beach June 04. It was a wonderful area. So sad....

the bay st louis / waveland area is my home , and ive lived here since 1989 , i feel so sad seeing whats left of my home and my friends homes, but we are going to stick it out and keep trying to rebuild , i live near the beach , just above the railroad tracks and we have at least 8 trees on or leaning on my trailer , we ve been cutting them from off my trailer and about the front of my trailer , my trailer was paid for , and my land is paid for, so im now the proud owner of alumimun junk , i dont know what i' ll put in after we ve cleared all this junk , but for now im in a fema 2by 4 trailer , so if you want to help please keep donateing your time , your help , your donations of anything you can spare , , there are many here still living in tents , and others with out work , transportation, etc, and all are trying their best to rebuild,
i have pics , of my home before and after , if you dont believe how bad this one was , ill be glad to forward some to someone who knows how to post them, so please pray for us , donate , talk to your friends and churches , i lost my son 4 years ago so im dealing with this better than most , and i am a survivior of hurricane betsy when i was 9 , i lived in the ninth ward where the levey first broke then , so i know how hard it will be when others stop thinking and helping us to rebuild, ive only just got a new water pump, im in the rural area and dont get city water , and i cant drink my water and have to pick up water from centers to drink and cook with , and there are others just as bad and lots more who still have to deal with fema about even getting a trailer, so please do what you can , send what you can to the areas and even the littlest donations help,

so so sorry, we can look at pics all day yet still not understand what these poor people have been through
