How have you been spending your weekend?

It has been so hot here and I have been stuck in the house cleaning and getting things ready for my in laws that will be here next week from Minnesota

I did get a small break today when I went to go pick my 2 oldest up from the ferry terminal, my step mom had missed the boat so I had 60 mins or so to kill and I took my little Bella to the Farmers Market on the waterfront.

She jumped in the bounce house, got her face painted, ate some hawaiian shaved ice, listened to some live music and I found a great gift for my state swap partner on another board.

Then I came home and cleaned all my carpets, ate dinner and cleaned some more then I took the kids out to DQ for some ice cream

saturday we always do our running around if there is an event goin on we'll go. its been too freakin hot here to really do anything fun outside.

Sundays i normally do cleaning and thats about all

Well, yesterday,we had a family BBQ for my son Jordan before he leaves.My sister came from Woodsfield,my nephew (who leaves the 3rd of Sept. for Kuwait) came,my best friend Holly is staying the weekend too.Plus all the kids.Was fun. My son and nephew are out playing 9 holes of golf right now.I am fixing to go was ALL the bedding in the house.

Today, Jordan's friends will be over for a BBQ.Jaimie has a flag (school) BBQ to go to at 6:00 pm tonight,so I need to make a dirt pudding desert for her to take.

Oh, Holly (best bud) brought a cake over for my Birthday early so everyone can have some.

It's been too hot here too. I am so anxious for FALL! I am sooo sick of summer

I have been busy shopping for back to school for my kids. Been having a hard time finding clothing for my 12 year old. Either the clothes don't fit right, or they are too provacative for her to wear at her age!

Other than that, I have been catching up on laundry and planning my meals for the next week.

oh, and spending ENTIRELY too much time on the net..lol!

Friday morning I went to a big shoe sale and got my son a new pair of shoes for school. Got $20 off them, so ya can't beat that. The sad is that they were still $50.

lol After that all we done was swim and eat. Got a good sunburn to go along with it too. We even put sunblock on and still got burned.

Saturday I slept just about all day. I just felt so bad and not sure why. lol I did manage to cook supper and do some dishes, but thats about it. Oh I forgot! I did get DH to hang some more wallpaper in the bathroom. Thats a project we've been working on for about 2 weeks now, if not longer, and its still not done.

The bathroom is very small but yet its took us this long to get it done. LOL We've been bitten by the lazy bug or something here.

Today.... I "plan" on cleaning all day. Everything needs a good dusting and I need to vacuum to living room and hall, sweep and mop all the other rooms and do some laundry. Hopefully I'll manage to get it all done today. DH is off today, so he can help too.

I've been sewing sequins onto a hobo bag for my DD. I have over 2000 sequins on the dern thingso far. And I have a quarter of it to go. Yikes.

I got in a cleaning mood yesterday and did everything from cleaning off the picture frames to washing the rug at the front door. I did go out for Chinese for lunch yesterday as well. So far this morning I have completed my ironing and read the paper. I still have to finish dusting the bathroom and my office and I am done. I don't get in these moods very often so I take advantage of them when they come.

Yesterday we stayed in so I did some cleaning and gave my cat a bath. I usually do a big cleaning on Sunday but since we didn't go anywhere yesterday I figured I might as well do it. Today it's supposed to rain. I got an emergency weather bulletin in my email stating that we are going to have thunder storms and heavy down pours that could cause flooding. I guess we probaly won't be going anywhere today either. lol

We have had rain the last two days. Bathe my puppy and let her stay inside. I have been going thru withdrawals from the pain meds they gave me for my arm so I have been a little grumpy.

Been really nice here, cool, cloudy and a little rainy since Friday night. Made chicken noodle soup yesterday and making vegetable beef today.

Been cleaning off and on, but mostly being lazy.

I would die for some rain LOL! my lawn is going brown no matter how much I water it.

Where is fall? LOL
