I just love this show!

Alma, AR - Thursday was the ten year anniversary of the abduction of Morgan Nick from a ballpark in Alma, Arkansas. Now, ABC's Extreme Makeover Home Edition is surprising the Nick family with a new home.

Crews from the show arrived in the small town north of Fort Smith Thursday, where Morgan's mother, Colleen has continued her crusade to find her daughter.

Morgan Nick was just six years old when someone took her from a baseball field near Alma, Arkansas, about 100 miles east-southeast of Tulsa. Thousands of leads have been turned over in the ten years since and composite photos have been updated to show what she might look like today (right), but nothing solid enough to bring her abductor to justice.

The Nick family moved a couple of years after Morgan's abduction to be closer to the investigation. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition plans to demolish the home Colleen Nick has called home for eight years and build a new home.

A rally is planned at the high school football field Saturday. The Nick family will then be sent on a vacation until the show's "big reveal" next week. The episode featuring the Nick home is scheduled to air on July 10th.

I also love this show. It makes me cry when I see the families go through thier houses. This family is in much need of a vacation. I know that will stir up some emotions too, since they won't have thier daughter there to enjoy it, but maybe it can help to bring the family closer and help them regroup some. My prayers go out to them that they will soon find some closure either way.

Oh I love this show too. I cry like a big baby when I watch it. It just really touches me to see people help out others like that.

i like this show too....but why are they giving them a new home? is there something wrong with the old one??

does anyone else think that sometimes they just 'over do it' a bit on the sizes of these houses they build? how is the average person suppose to be able to pay taxes, gas, electric, and water on these things??

I wouldn't want to see the heating bills on some of these houses. There was one show two or three weeks ago where they had paid all of the utilities for one year. I'm not sure how they figured out how much it would be or maybe they had it set up to pay the bills as they came in. On another show the whole community contributed to a fund so that each child had something like $25,000 each to go to college with. They usually do something extra but I don't know what they do after that. On last weeks show the couple had seven kids. One older son and then sextuplets. They paid for nanny service for them for a year.

I bawl like a baby every time I watch this show lol

I know as far as the utilities go, they try to make the homes the most economical as they can. I have seen them put in solar panels and waterfalls to cut the costs.

I'd love a new home, but I'd be happy with a nanny for a year LOL

i saw that one too. i believe both parents were teachers?? i dont know how they are going to afford that house, and feed 7 kids now!

As far as I am concerned - this is the best reality show on TV! ALot of the time the builder will even kick in on the utilities etc...
