best cd player for car?
before certain people start *****ing : i am caught up on all my bills and i have bought what i need. i've been getting a lot of overtime, so i am very comfortable right now. it's not your business how i spend my money, but that will clear things up before anything starts.
first i want to ask, is it a bad idea to buy electronics from wal-mart?
second, which of these is the best brand: sony, pioneer, jvs, or durabrand?

Re: best cd player for car?
I know nothing about car stereos. Just wanted to say I'm glad things are going well for you at work. Make sure you put some money aside though. Overtime is great, but it doesn't always last. Don't take this as criticism. Just the mother in me giving advice.

Re: best cd player for car?
me being the kind of female i am..i dont know much about cd players...
i have always felt that brand names were suppose to be better....
i have a jvc in my car and absolutely love it...
my speakers are infinity's and you can hear my bass from a fairly good distance..."thank GOD i have outgrown those days"
i do suggest getting a detachable face......so handy...it helps keep thieves away..."most of the time"
whatever you get...good luck...and let us know how it goes..
This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it...

all I can say is that you should either get one is the removable, easy to remove or one where you can take the faceplate off. That way you can either take the player with you when you get out of the car or if someone tries to steal it, they won't break the dash getting it out.
Our 23 y/o DD bought DH a CD changer from walmart (I think it was a rampage) we never had any problems with it (even tho its a cheap brand) Had it for 4 years until we sold the bronco.

I'm a huge fan of Sony though and would prob go w/ that... of course I keep hoping that I will win a jackpot (if i ever go gambeling) and will be able to afford a new car!
whoo hoo lol.. anyways....
I would hafta agree on Sony.. I bought a brand new one on Ebay for about $80 and it rocks..it plays mp3 cds and has an awesome control system. I can set it to club backround, explode, rock, jazz etc settings..I think the model is Explode

I have a Denon and love it. They are very pricey, but you can find
decent sales.
