Is there anyone else out there that has been involved in a swap and never received their package? I have been involved in 3 swaps on another forum and only received one package out of 3 different swaps. It is very disappointing and knowing that I spent the time and money to get the package for my person, makes me upset. I do love giving to others, but when you are involved in a swap that other person should send out their package too.

I haven't ever had a problem with the swaps. But, I hardly do any of them.... I dont know if it makes a difference or not......

Same here. So far (as far as I know) there hasn't been any problems with the swaps here lately, but I have never done one... mostly becaue I have read the posts where people have been burned and I just don't want to take the chance.

I do however participate in the secret santa for the kids because all I have to do is send presents

I do swaps ALL the time on here and other boards too and only got burned once a long long time ago. I addicted to swapping.

i have gotten taken before..aggrivating. i also unfortunatly didn't send my end last summer to 2 people...i didn't mean to burn them and as soon as i possibly could i covered them in aloe,lol

some people really don't mean to not send,things happen. but others who do it on purpose make something that is suppose to be fun sad and makes you not want to even do it anymore.

i also burned my self..last summer i ended up homeless and had to leave suddenly..i was in a 6 month swap and had all ready sent to several people and my name hadn't been picked yet...so i never got any packages...but you can't exactly get mail when you have no house.

what bugs me is when your in an iso swap and they send you nothing from your list...i always wonder if they just don't get the idea...like may be they are new?

i really love trading and swapping..bardering...i have found that you find a handfull of people that you end up dealing with so often you feel related..it's finding that group that is hard....when i first started out i was so stupid i would forget to even ask them thier user names when the e-mailed me and just sent them money,lol...boy that was stupid!

I've gotten burned in several "secret pal" swaps. It really is ridiculous of people to sign up just for the "free stuff" and never send out to their assigned person.

I signed up for about 6 different swaps earlier this year and ended up getting 1 really decent swap, and the rest were either complete JUNK (all dollar store "goodies", maybe 4 or 5 things total on a $25+ swap *eyeroll*) or never showed up.
I just hate it because I send out awesome items like those I'd LIKE to be receiving!

No more secret swaps for me for a while!!

Don`t even get me going on this topic. I love them & have even started ones but because of people not keeping up their end & the disappointments & the money spent realized it just wasn`t worth it....I`m done! Too bad too cuz most people are good about these things. It`s the few that take advantage that ruin if for everybody.
