Angry anyone know how to get perminate marker off the wall?

AHHHHHHHHH! I am ready to pull my hair out. I cant get my DD to stop writing on the wall in her room. I have washed off crayon, pens, and now she has decided to find a perminate marker my bf leaves around the house. (Another gripe in itself) I have tried that Mr clean magic eraser. I got the crayon off with it. I have also tried the oxy clean spray stuff from Buzz. I just realized I got some Spic N Span stuff from Zoom panel. So I will try that when my nerves calm down. I dont know what else to use. Its a HUGE spot too.

Well I am off to see what else I can find to get this stuff off the wall.

Hair Spray! It has to be the aerosol in a can type. I'm not sure if the other things you've already put on it will have set it but it will probably still work. It's what the taggers use to remove graffiti. and it's about the only thing that works

I use this stuff called Spot Shot. I haven't run across anything it hasn't removed yet. Good luck. My DD once drew all over the wall and fridge with a perm marker. I feel your pain.

toothpaste..it works great when they get it on themselves since it's non toxic. i have used it to remove the marker from other things too like carpet, and the toilet, not sure about walls but it's worth a try.

Nail polish remover will take it off. Would test a small area first since its on your wall.

If you have one of those Mr Clean Erasers, give that a whirl. I've got things off with them when nothing else would do it!

If you have an "erasable" marker...the kind for white boards, use it over the permanent marker, then wipe it off. A guy at Staples told me that hint and it works...I had blue Sharpie on the wall and it took it off.

Thank you all for your help. I will try each one and see what works hehe. It has kind of faded since I started trying to wipe it off from earlier. The light bulb blew out in DD's room so I will have to wait till the morning. She came in earlier with ink pen all over her nose. I am going to rip my bf a new one for leaving all this stuff around that SHE only finds hehe.

Maybe it's on there. Geesh you have to pay to join. I'm sure there are other places on the web that are free.

LOL.......................been there done that.............I was ready to choke her......she was 3 at the time. We ended up painting over it. Windex faded it a little bit........it was a blue marker....perm. I heard that WD40 works. Don't know, didn't try that.

    Good Luck.
