Re: what do you do for a living ?
I am a laptop tech. I basically diagnoise and repair laptops. I also undo lot of spyware/malware and software issues that people do to their machines.
A largest part of the laptop repairs I do are for a major publishing company, so I also have to pack and ship out their laptops back to them, and keep the status of their repairs updated in our system since they can access that info at any one time. Do alot of price quote for non-warrenty repairs for them also. Also deal with the overflow of general walk in drop off repairs.

Re: what do you do for a living ?
I also work at a police department, not as a dispatcher but as a police services specialist (just a fancy title for office person). If I told you how much I make, you'd say it was quite a bit. But you have to remember that So Cal is a more expensive area also... supposedly.

Re: what do you do for a living ?
I had to say... I came back and edited my post above.. I didn't make $14,000 last year.. it was supposed to be $4000 LOL $14,000 would have been nice though!
