Anyone use self-tanners???

I am tired of stark white legs and afraid of sun damage. Looking for some suggestions on the "BEST" self-tanning products out there. I thought maybe someone here could tell me the ones "NOT" to use, I certainly don't want to be orange.
I was thinking of going to get a spray tan, but I don't really want it on my face.

Re: Anyone use self-tanners???

Well from my experience, the cheaper the product, the more orange you will be LOL I use the ban solie (sp?) self tanner. Its not overly expensive and one bottle usually last me 3 or 4 months. My best friend used the spray tan last week and she had a few streaks w/ that, so I'm not going to try.

I don't tan, not because I don't want to, but because everytime I try, I get burned and then go back to being casper lol (I think I reflect the sun!)

You can get a LOT of info here

http://www.sunless.com/index.php

I love Bain de Soleil. I usually use the spray, for your face spray it on your hands and rub on. Just remember to wash your hands quickly. After I put on the tanning lotion I follow it up with plain body lotion (like jergens etc) It keeps the color from streaking and really comes out even.

Re: Anyone use self-tanners???

my mom has starting using some like hand lotion with tint in it....sorry I dont know what the name is but it is good doing good for her and she put it on her face and all not orange on her...but all body tones are different.......the more times you put it on the darker you are just like self tanners

Re: Anyone use self-tanners???

Just make sure that before you apply the self tanner that you exfoliate first or it could leave patches of uneven color.

Re: Anyone use self-tanners???

Thanks for all the suggestions !!
I can sit out in the sun for hours and it does nothing to my skin but give me freckles. I think I am the only one in Texas without a tan. I just want a little something for my legs. I will try the Bain de Soliel.

Re: Anyone use self-tanners???

Just wanted to let you know that you aren't the only Texan out there that can't tan.....I can never get dark. On the upside, I think I have really lovely, clear pale skin.....but I WOULD like to be darker during the summer. I'll have to try some of this stuff.

Re: Anyone use self-tanners???

my daughter has been using the new ones at Wal-Mart, they look like a blowdryer and you spray it on and dab it off with little sponges. It works GREAT and looks so real.
