Bye - going to my kitchen
Mur's unit the 227th arrives stateside from Kuwait and ceremonies are Mon. am in VA about 6 hours north of us. I already made over 300 pieces of fudge, chocolate, peanut butter, and white chocolate/coconut. Today I start on over 300 cookies. Making chocolate chip, peanut butter, and plain sugar. Tomorrow I need to make 300 mini cupcakes. They will only have a small dab of frosting in the middle to hold a flag sticker on top.
So I won't be around much for a couple days.

Re: Bye - going to my kitchen
I'd sure like to help you but I couldn't make it today, seeing that I'm on the other side of the country. I could get there by tomorrow though.

Re: Bye - going to my kitchen
Whew - took me over 6 hours to bake 309 cookies. Mur came in from Ft. Bragg and commenced eating the extra 9. Sorry I can't share any this time. As some asked about making large amounts, I cheated. I bought bags of Duncan Hines cookie mix at 1/2 price. Cheaper than all the ingredients. I just did 2 bags of each flavor at the same time in the bowl. The whole neighborhood smelled like fresh baked cookies
Going to watch mindless TV. I'm pooped. Tomorrow is at least 300 mini cupcakes with the flag stickers on top.
