Thread: we got a camper!!!

we bought a 1989 prowler!!!

we love to camp and alwasy had to either tent it, or borrow my dad's camper, which was not always possible as he camps all the time himself. it is not new, and it does nto have the bunk like we wanted for the kids. but it does have the jack knife couch so they can sleep there.

it is nice and will do just fine until we can afford a bigger one. we are so excited. now, i get to go to the dollar store and get the things to go inside

well, we got a great deal! it was only 2800! all the others we found even at that age we around $4000 or $5000!! so we grabbed it up! the man we bought it works with dh and they were just wanting a newer one. which i guess is what we will do. and maybe we will be able to pass it on as a "starter" camper for someone else.

We always did the tent thing when we went camping, then 2yrs ago we got an awesome deal on a 2000 Palamino popup for 2K. Was only 3yrs old at the time and excellent condition. So from a tent to a popup we were in seventh heaven. Enjoy your camper! That's what I did also is do the dollar store thing for the goodies like dish towels, salt shakers, scissors, etc.
