5 year old sick since last night...

daughter throwing up since last night about 10pm...can't keep anything down- can you get suppositories over the counter to give to her?

Idon't know of any of that type suppositorias that you can get for vomiting over the counter.

Why don't you call your family doctor and see if something can be phoned in for her. I have done that when our son was young.

oh hon i know exactly what you are going through....i use that on my dd when she was little and it hurt her so bad that i will never use it again but that is just me .....my kids have been going through this now for like 3 weeks off and on finally better today

but anyway I will say a prayer for you for a speedy recovery

I got this virus yesterday morning and then my baby girl got it last night. Its a bad one!

I'm not aware of any otc suppositories like that. I've only seen those given by prescription. Do you have any car sick medicine? Maybe you could give her one of those to help. I've had to use them before on my kids.

If nothing else, call your doctor and see if they can call something in for her.

Got some suppositories at walgreens- they are with the reg. Tylenol and all that stuff- she has a nasty fever and wasn't too happy about the med- but I got her a care bear and all was forgiven! LOL! Hope it does the trick! I think I had it Tuesday night- my stomach was really bothering me so...

Then get a big bottle of Calamine lotion, boxes of baking soda for warm bath water, no undies, loose fitting clothing and mittens to keep from scratching. That's all old fashioned but it helped my kids nearly 40 years ago. Good luck sweetie.

My boys always loved to play in the tub when they were little, thankfully, so when they got chicken pox, I just put aveeno in the tub gave them their toys and they played and got "medicine" at the same time. Good luck and HUGS. Its not easy on the mommies either.

OH DEAR hope all is better in the morning for you did she get the shot ? if so she should not break out very much my daughter got the pox with the shot and only got a few like 8 dots....I hope for her sake it does not get very bad prayers for the family
