That was so nice of the airline to upgrade him like that nanajoanie. I have always liked Delta. The last few times I have flown it was through Southwest but this summer I won't be flying with them because they don't allow you to bring pets on the plane and we are taking our cat with us so we will use a different airline. Glad you had a good visit with Mur and that you hear from him real soon.

Re: please read Tracy's post about Nanajoanie
Both of my sisters flew Delta and on each flight the pilot announced that there were service men and women on the flight and they asked the passengers to applaude and show their appreciation for the service people. I thought it was a wonderful gesture. Sorry that Mur is gone. I will have him in my thoughts and I hope that he is safe while he is there.

That made my eyes leak. I wonder if they did this for Mur. I'll have to "try" to remember to ask him when he calls tonight or tomorrow.
On the other hand about Delta: My 17 yr. old grandson flew Delta and arrive last night about 11 pm. His luggage arrived after 2 pm this afternoon. But glad it arrived. He was worried about his $300.00 pr. of sunglasses, not clothes, shaver, etc. Teenagers
