I have Eye Questions
One of my pupils is larger than the other! Why could that be? What should i do about it? I just tried to get an appointment but the soonest they have is the 7th of january.

Did you hit your head. That is often the sign of a concussion.

Go to the hospital - could be indicative of a brain tumor. Not to scare you - but go - NOW

It could be from:
1. Zoloft or any antidepressant (side effect)
2. Migraines
3. Early sign of glaucoma
...you DO need to have it check though...Why not learn to enjoy the little things - there are so many of them.

I agree w/ everyone else... have it checked ASAP!
It can be caused by one of many medications... however it can also be caused by a disruption of the signals to your brain (concussion etc)

theo nly thing i have inhaled is paint. Hubby has been painting the living room. I did go to the optometry clinic today, he said that between the ages 14-30 in females, that for 24 hours, some females do get an enlarged pupil, that no one knows anything baout. He said that it normally goes away after 24 hours, so if i wake up tomorrow morning and its still enlarged, then i need to go in again. He looked at my eyes and everything..... But he said everything looked fine...
Now on the other hand.... he wasnt really worried about my right eye (the pupil) he was more worried about my left eye that has been going downhill for a while now.... I just got my prescription changed in about april or may, and they are having to change again... Thats what he is worried about, not the pupil.....

Have you been using any kind of eye drops? I had some allergy eye drops one time that caused my pupils to dialate. I only had the itching in one eye one day, so I just put the drops in one eye, and that was when I noticed what they were doing. Anyways, it's just a thought. I hope everything is ok!
