Hi! MY dd is having her party on sat. I am wondering if anyone has come up with a creative way to handle presents so the b day child isn't overwhelmed! I was thinking of a spin the bottle type idea, but is that too provocative? I know they are only kindergardeners...but I need a way to find a non/crazy way to handle this!

Maybe draw a number. Number all the packages when the child arrives. I for the first child. Mix them up in a hat and draw. Are you worried about playing favorites with the opening of gifts?

My little two year old nephew couldn't figure out why he had to open more gifts. He was too busy playing with the ones he already opened. LOL He would cry when he had to open another one. At your dot's age they know half the fun is opening.
