All 4 of my kids said Dada before they said Mama. They were all 5 months old when they first started talking. All of them were using short sentences by the time they were 1 year.

lol
my kids first words were food items... followed by the word dad...
they only called me mom when they finally lost something....or needed something.... grrrrrrrrrrrrr...There's nuthing u cant froogle or snope!

My oldest was about 5 months and my youngest was about 4 months....
And yes, they do grow up soo fast
