Question Herbalife: does it work? any problems? complications?

Questions to anyone who tried it: does it really work? any problems? complications? (that's just general) I just ordered 21 day cleansing system and aloe vera drink concentrate and I don't need to lost any weight: it's just that I read so much about cleansing the digestive system on the internet and almost all the symptoms they list I have, so I think that I really need to cleanse it... Herbalife was recommended as the safe and natural way (comparing to enema )

Have anyone done it? or any other way? Any thoughts and expierences will be greatly appreciated!

Re: Herbalife: does it work? any problems? complications?

I have never used it myself, (can't afford it) but my neice and her Dh sell it and have used it for years. they both lost weight, but the amazing thing is my neice had fibromyalgia, or however you spell it, before she started using it. She was always in so much pain and had gained weight from the prescripts that the Dr. gave her. She now has no systems of Fibro and has lost all the weight and then some. Don't know if that helps answer your question but thought it would give you some insight on how well it works.

Re: Herbalife: does it work? any problems? complications?

I used it about 7-8 years ago. I lost about 25 pounds, In about 2-3 months.
I did the vitamins and drink thing-and had to watch my fat intake and all the jazz.

I slipped up every so often (I was hungry!!) Even crackers looked soooo good!

My hubby told me I smelt like a giant vitamin lol

But it worked and all. It is expensive-but I thought very worth it!

I do not know about the aloe cleansing system-but I would guess that it would work-beings that the weight loss part did.

Good luck to you!

Re: Herbalife: does it work? any problems? complications?

My roommate used it and he lost over 100lbs before we met. I used it for a few months and it was great. The bad part was swallowing those AWFUL pills. Most of the time they made me gag and once I already gagged, it was impossible to get them down so I skipped them. My roommate drank shakes for meals 1 & 2 and a normal dinner. I ate everything I wanted when ever I wanted to and it still worked. And fast.

Included in the 'package' was cleansing pills and other vitamins. Like a yellow pill that I call the "pee pill" b/c it was meant to cleanse the system of impurities and make your urine clear. So that's the only cleansing thing that I tried, but it worked.

Re: Herbalife: does it work? any problems? complications?

I too tried this but did not lose anything on it sorry I had to be the one to say that it did not work but as we all know not everything works for everyone. I do a colon cleanse about every 6 months and it does help you will feel so much better.

Re: Herbalife: does it work? any problems? complications?

I tried it several years ago but didn't have much luck with it. I did lose some weight but nothing close to what everybody else was losing. I had someone try to sell me more of the stuff and I complained about my experience with it and they had someone higher in the company call and talk to me. Come to find out I was told that since I have high blood pressure and am on meds, that would slow my process for losing weight. She said the person who sold it to me should have told me that. I quit immediately! There's no way I can afford to spend THAT much for something that wasn't going to work for me. I was getting the run around with my original sales person so I had to contact the company in order to get my money back. If you are on any medication please contact them first and find out if it will work for you. My sales person knew of my meds and still sold me the product.
