In January I started out writing to a soldier, but never heard from him. About a month later, I was sent an email his unit was being called back. I received a new soldier's address and he has written to us several times. I am starting to get my unread letters back from the first soldier.....I guess he moved on before getting them, or we got the wrong address, or (hope not) he is no longer with us.
Point being you may not hear from your soldier for a long, long time...So keep writing and be patient....(MAMA....can you hear me???

Let us know if anyone hears from his or her soldier..it's nice to know there are people on the end of those letters. My soldier is 25 and from MO. He has a fiancee back home (
) and plans on getting married when he comes home.
How about sharing some other soldier details....you know, just basic ones, no names or anything...
