Then came to my computer to see my DSL was not working! I got it back up though.(breath in and out!).

I am posting my cookie recipe. It is not original but they are good!
Preheat oven to 375. You need a box( 18.25 oz) of devils food cake mix, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 2 eggs, 2/3 cup of butter, and 2 cups of chips (peanut butter or chocolate chips or maybe mixed?. It's a quick one when you don't want to hunt up the flour, sugar and so on.
Preheat your oven. Mix the eggs, softened butter, and vanilla with half of the bag of cake mix. Mix very well! Get all lumps out! Then add the other half and the chips. Drop from teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheets or use parchment paper. Leave about 2 inches so they can spread out. Bake around 10-12 minutes or keep checking so they don't burn.

I always get compliments on these, even from the pickest people.
I made another batch of something else, but I am keeping that a secret for now.

We are not allowed to send homemade food to school anymore

Not sure what brought the rule on, but it sure is expensive to have to buy treats all the time.
