Saying goodbye to my DH as he headed out to go over to Kuwait and Iraq and then tryin to explain to my DD just where her daddy was goin and why.

Of course there's things like the war in Iraq, the capture of Saddam, etc.
But I'd rather think on a more personal level. And there are quite a few this year. Insignificant things like turning 50, my son turning 30... But also some very personal, significant ones like Stubby's cancer diagnosis and successful surgery. Having my mother and mother-in-law with us another year, and my son proposing to his lady. Those top the list.  I was blessed several times over in '03. Bring on '04!

My Mother dying  and me trying to race to be with her and not getting there in time.Dealing with the grief....2003 has been a hell year on me.

a phone call at work.......
Telling me my nine yr.old had been hit by a truck....I'll never forget that day. The thoughts that were running through my head on the way there. I am so lucky to still have my baby, he was to limber and just tumbled....Thank You Jesus....God Bless All Of You Here!
