It has been a tough year for us. So far this yr we have been through
a separation
from my husband...a pending divorce....my husband getting ready to go
to jail (he deserves it but it is still hard on the children to know
about it)...I have
went from being a SAHM with a hard working husband to a single mom of
2...working part time and struggling to keep our heads above water.
Not to mention that
WHEN my husband DOES go to jail...it will cut our income by more than
half be cause the child support and alimony are a major part of our
income.
telephone is shut off and i cannot even get online at home...I am the
the county library using a computer to check my email.

Haley age 12 (she is very large...5 ft 6 and weighs
160+ lbs..therefor everything clotheswise she needs in
WOMENS sizes...not children or juniors!!)
Shirt 16-18 women's or women's XL Pants/Jeans= 16 womens plus or XL
in elastic=waist
pants BRAS 36A or L or XL sprts bras (she prefers sports
bras) PANTIES= 7 womens SHOES/BOOTS= 10 WOMENS socks...to match shoe

THINGS SHE LIKES= blue is her fave color, she loves
anthing LISA FRANK, drawing and art supplies, pen pal
supplies, hair care products/accessories, music( newer
rock/pop) her fave artist is EMINEM...she would love
anything on or about him...books, mags, posters, cds
or tapes

Parents separated.
They have significant debt. This is due at least in part to medical
bills. They are now maintaining 2 households with father removed by
court order. Mother has been told she can't work or the amount of
child support she gets will be reduced by the amount she earns. She
has 6 kids, one in public school, one at home in a public cyber
school, 2 are homeschooled and 2 are too young for formal schooling
so to go to work, even if it wouldn't reduce child support, would
create a major hardship for the family.


Rose, 17g,
a talented dancer, likes candles. Favorite flower - rose.

Sarah, 14g,
also a dancer, also in school choir and drama. Favorite
flower - tulip.

Adrian, 11b,
somewhat "behind" for his age. Is only now learning to read.
Loves animals, eg Kratts Creatures and Zaboomafoo (sp?) Formerly
quite a
Blue's Clues and Bob the Builder fan but may have somewhat outgrown
those.
Favorite color - blue.

Stephen, 8b, Still likes Blue's Clues (quite a fan of Steve) and
Clifford
the Big Red Dog. Favorite color - green.

Aaron, 5b (6 in Jan), knows numbers and letters, very visually
creative (eg
used to draw on the walls and windows!).

Valoie, 3g, loves ballet and loves Disney princesses.

These kids are mostly homeschooled, do not watch many of the popular
kids'
shows that many their age watch.

I need help because my son has been diagnosed as being severely depressed and is on medication plus he is ADHD. Since the jobs me and my husband have dont provide health insurance we have to pay for the doctor and his medication. Our car broke down and the repairs are outrageous. I just would like to give them a nice christmas if possible.

Holly is 19 and a freshmen in college....she loves anything to do with sponge bob and loves ty babies. She takes a 5/6 in misses and a size 6 1/2 shoe.

Jenny is 16 and likes all kinds of jewelry, ty babies and christian music. Likes anything to do with the Lion King. She takes x-large size in clothing and needs a winter coat badly.

Jason is 14 and would like to have a gameboy advance and a game for it, also likes Alan Jackson. He takes a size 2x in adult shirts, x-large in adult pants and needs a winter coat.

of Eight 4-girls & 2- boys children & 2 adults-my husband & me that

no other way to give our children anything for Christmas or really not
much other times of the year.
My husband who is disable receives $624.00 in Social Security benefits
monthly.I we go to food banks.The kids are in school so they eat

hi, well IM really not sure where to begin. our 8yr old son has been
diagnosed with bi-polar, add, adhd and post traumatic stress
syndrome. we found this out after numerous trips to 3 different
hospitals who diagnosed him with the same thing. all of these
hospitals are miles away from our home because our city does not have
a hosp for children of his age and his problems. my husband has been
layed off for a month or so now and we have 3 other children plus my
father who we have been taking care of also. after paying the
necessary bills to keep a roof over our heads there is no money left
out of the un-employment check. we do get food stamps so that helps a
lot but with no extra coming in we will be strapped for christmas. my
husband and youngest daughter both have asthma also, so we are a
household with numerous medical problems. i hate asking for help and
any help we get is greatly appreciated. we would just like for the
kids to have something under the tree. if you need any additional
information feel free to email me anytime.

lindsay age 9, loves barbies, clothes and word circle books, she is
also an avid reader, I have been trying to find Nancy drew and cherry
ames books for her
steven age 8, a reader also, and it doesnt matter he reads anything,
word circle books and cars
trinity age 7, she also is a reader, barbies and work circle books
brandy age 6, she has a kitchen set she loves to play with so kitchen
toys would be great, dolls also. she is our little homemaker.
the older kids love to read and do the word circle books
