Thread: Moving to mexico!!!!

My husband and I decided to move to mexico....we are just gonna sell everything we own and go!! I am soo excited..i think

I have never been to where we are going...At first we are just gonna camp out whereever and visit the temples and such..later, we will build a house or stay with his relatives. Its going to be tough but its worth it. Thanks guys!! We will be leaving after thanksgiving

And you are doing this because??? I don't say this to flame you...I'm really curious.

Will you have better opportunities there? I gather he has family there...do you? Do you speak Spanish? Are there lots of jobs there? Would it be a better place to raise children..i.e., not as hectic or fast paced as here.

We were seperated and thinking of divorce. We spent the week together and both have been wanting to do this for awhile. So...anyhow, nows the perfect time. We have no responsibilities or anything so we are just doing it. Its cheap to live there,he has a little family there, we can both speak enough to get by, and it will be something new and away from the pressures of the real world. Raising a family there will be a good thing. Children are more appreciative. We are hoping to just have fun and enjoy each other.

my hubby's aunt and uncle are building a house in mexico,too. they are tired of the high prices in florida,getting ripped-off by thier own kids,etc. they have been going down there for the past 2 years,building and helping run a mission for the church. they love it there!! i hope it works out for you and your hubby!!
