Question How are all of our East coast friends?

Just wondering how all of you on the East coast are doing. What is going on where you live? Has the hurrican affected you? What are you doing to prepare? Are you scared?

My stepson and his wife (4 weeks preggers)live in Jacksonville NC. Talked to them last night, they were on base at Camp Johnson at a friends house and doing ok. I am really worried about them.

I have a SIL/BIL and nephew and his wife in Chantilly VA. and cousin and her family in Greensboro NC. I am stressing about them all real bad!

I am a worry wart and this storm is freaking me out!

I hope all of you out on the East coast are doing ok and that the storm is not as bad as they say it will be. Take care and stay safe!

I live in Philadelphia. I just got off work an hour ago and boy oh boy when I got outside, I thought the skies were going to open up any minute. The wind is really kicking up and it got cold. Delaware is in a state of emergency. I don't know how NJ is preparing. I remember about 4-5 years ago when Philadelphia got hit with a hurricane after a severe drought. Don't remember the name of the hurricane though. I have never seen such devastation to an inland city from a hurricane. Cars were floating, buildings collapsed, houses destroyed. I just hope it stays off shore and we get out of this relatively unscathed. I think by the time I have to go into work tonight, it's going to be ugly.

It's pouring and windy already in Richmond now w/winds at only 21 mph and my backyard is already a freakin pool and it didn't start raining until about 7:30am. They said it's not supposed to hit us until around 8PM and go thru the night and we could have wind gusts 70+mph, sustained winds of 40-60mph and 5-10 inches of rain and flooding.

Tornado watch till 8pm for Richmond to the SE

Be safe everyone in the path!!!
