to open for Buddy Jewel or any of the other major country acts at our towns festival. He turned it down though since he does not have a band together. He does country and country gospel, writes a lot of his own stuff. At any rate though he was told they would send him the paperwork for next years show and he could be an opening act. We are both pretty excited about this.

Thanks jcw, he had put a band together once but so many of the wives and girlfriends were throwing a fit about it that most everyone quit, they had some gigs scheduled already then too but then the lead guitarist ran off with the bass players wife and that was the end of that. Anyway I guess he will try once again to put together a band for next years gig.
