I remember most of these toys as well,(showing my age.) One of my favorites was the metal Jack in Box. Can't hardly find them anymore, and when you do they are expensive. Those metal tops were so annoying. We use to buy those and those popper toys that looked like vacumn sweepers for our nieces and nephews and they got played with just long enough to annoy the parents and then were hidden or thrown out. I'd love to get my hands on one of those metal tops now. They are worth a lot of money because they make everything out of plastic any more. Does anyone remember Fizzies? They were like an Alka Seltzer, but they were flavored and you put them in a glass of water to make a soft drink or fruit drink out of. We use to put them on our tongues ad let them fizz and foam in our mouths. LOL

Have I got a surprise for you.. I know where you can still get Fizzies tablets. Another site I get in my mail mentioned them a couple of weeks ago so I backtracked on there and found the website
for you.

I can still picture ours hanging from the telephone wires.

Etch-a-sketch!
Zim-Zam(A football shaped hard plastic ball, with 2 strings going through it, with 2 handles on each end of the strings. You had to open your arms to seperate the strings to send the ball back to the person you were playing with before it hit the handles and stopped!) It really hurt when the ball hit the handles.
Pop-Rocks!
Ohhh...who was that hotdog with the spring in the middle of him? OK, there he is: SLINKY DOG
There's a lot more, but it's way past my bedtime. G'nite!
