I had a rubber Gumby doll about the size of a Barbie Doll. And those funky little troll dolls. I had the skates w/the key too.

Goodness, all I can say is that I remember ALL these toys!! Had most of 'em too! Kind of puts in perspective how old I really am getting!
Anyone remember those Shrinky-Dink things? I don't think my mother realized that she'd have to put them in the oven! I think she probably regretted ever buying those for me!

Hi,
I remember all those toys. I had a peggy pen pal doll that had a desk and when you wrote she wrote the same thing. My cousin wrecked her when I was a kid. Markered all over her face. I seen it on ebay go for about $75 and My sister and I had Chrissy and Baby Crissy. Her hair grew when you pushed her belly button, and a doll named Cinnamon who did the same thing. Fun stuff. I also had jacks, chinese jump ropes, cats cradle, Ragedy Anne and Andy. We also
played with tops, marbles, silly putty, tiddly winks.
Remember the Pet Rock..We had one. lol
Those were the days.. We had no electronic games until we got an Atari. I look at the Segas and Nitendos, etc and think we had to use our imagination.

Inch Worm
My big cousin Teddy sat on it and broke him, I cried.(I was about 3 at the time)
I saw him recently at my Uncles funeral,(hadn't seen him in about 25 years) and told him yeah I remember you, you broke my inch worm when I was 3, He was shocked that that was what I remembered about him, lol
oh there are so many more, but they just slip my mind.
I also had Baby Alive, and a snoopy night light (wish I had never given that to my niece-I am sure they threw it away)

Got all this classic candy at work
I work for Meijer and about 2 months ago, they brought in an entire ROOM full of the candy from our childhood, from necco wafers, candy cigs to wax teeth. There was about 100 different varieties of candy in one room. We got to go through it, tell them which ones we really remembered and which ones they were missing (they were missing whistle pops.)
The reason meijer did that is because they are thinking of bringing back a "nostalgic" candy isle, filled with all the classic candy of yore! I'll keep you guys posted if I hear anything else.
I ended up with free zots, baked beans, lemon heads, taffy, corn on a stick (?) and vampire wax teeth. It was great!
