I need help removing Silly Putty from bedding

anyone know how to remove this stuff. It is all over my daughters comforter and a crocheted blanket? I have looked at the crayola.com site and it gives directions, but on the blanket that is crocheted I don't think i can follow the procedure.

Any tips, help or suggestions are very much appreciated!

Freeze it. If possible, stick the balnket into the freezer overnight. If not, put ice on it and freeze it, It should "break" off.

Good luck! Ive also heard a product calle d"OOPS!" will take it off. Its in the paint stuff al WalMart.

I know that WD-40 worked GREAT removing warm, sticky gum that was SQUISHED into the carpet, under my floormat in the car. It left no marks, smell, residue or anything. And of course, you could wash your blanket afterwards. Hope that helps...

I have been there before. My neice threw silly putty at her brother and He was to lazy to get it out of the bed with him. So the next morning it was everywhere. The bed, the blanket, the floor(carpet), his clothes. We used ice to freeze it and they spent the entire day picking it off everything.
